Set of 4 Model 122 chairs by Vico Magistretti for Cassina, 1970s

Set of 4 model 122 chairs designed in 1967 by Vico Magistretti for Cassina. The chairs are in mahogany/ebony-stained walnut wood with ochre yellow velvet upholstery. The design’s distinctive feature is the back legs, which rise to meet the backrest via a helical rotation of the flat section.

Condition: The chairs are in excellent condition with very slight signs of age, which have been mitigated through conservative restoration. (visible in photos)

• 2 backrests feature a small nick on the rear left corner and one on the rear right corner, respectively.
• slight wear on the upper caps of the front legs.
